A DUAL-PURPOSE HYBRID THAT PRODUCES HIGH QUALITY SILAGE YIELDS
This hybrid grows 6-8 ft tall, with a strong stalk that provides for very
good standability. 2-WAY® F104 yields 5000-7000 pounds per acre of red
grain, resulting in a very high grain to stover ratio. This significantly
increases digestible dry matter per acre when fed as silage. The high
protein content and total digestible nutrients make it perfect for the
feed lot or dairy. The numerous wide leaves produce a dark, dense canopy,
resulting in superior weed suppression and moisture conservation.
2-WAY® F104 reaches the soft dough stage in approximately 120 days and
can produce 30 tons of silage under good conditions.
