Management Notes:
GRAZER63 is a high quality medium-early maturity hybrid that performs very well in marginal soils that are high in sand or
acidic. Plants have high drought tolerance, good early season tillering, and massive root systems. This hybrid has excellent
re-growth when it is cut or grazed no more than 4 inches from the soil. GRAZER63 works well in a wide variety of production
practices and is also well suited for equine operations where forages are needed for grazing purposes. Seed can be planted
as early as soil temperatures remain at a constant 65 degrees. Millet can be grazed as early as three weeks after
emergence or when plants reach an 18-24 inch height. This hybrid is best suited for a rotational grazing system or multiple
cutting hay production. |
